Online booking for dog groomers is on its way
We’re building grooming appointments into BookPet now: customers pick a free slot, see the price for their dog’s size and coat, and you approve or confirm automatically. Sign up early and help shape it.
Where things stand
BookPet launched with boarding and daycare. Grooming needs something they don’t: a diary of time slots that knows how long each groom takes and who’s doing it. We designed for that from day one, so it slots into the same booking page, dashboard and pricing engine you’d use today.
Ready now: your booking page, intake questions, T&Cs with signature, approve and decline, calendar feed and embed.
Coming with grooming: slot booking, groomer schedules and appointment times in your calendar. Reminder emails and rebooking nudges will follow.
What grooming booking will do
Size and coat pricing
Small, medium and large prices, a supplement for double coats, and “price on request” for matted coats, all worked out as the customer books.
One or more groomers
Each groomer has their own working days, so a two-person salon can take two dogs at once without double-booking.
The right questions
Coat type, last groom, matting, allergies and how they behave on the table, collected before the dog walks through the door.
Request or instant
Approve each appointment yourself, or let customers confirm instantly when a slot is free. Your choice, per service.
Mobile groomers
Customers enter their address and we check it against the postcodes you cover.

Grooming questions
When will grooming appointments be ready?
Appointment booking is the next big piece we’re building, alongside availability. We won’t give a date we can’t keep – sign up or email us and we’ll tell you the moment it’s ready to try.
Can I use BookPet for grooming today?
Not properly yet. You could take simple requests through a day-based service, with your intake questions and T&Cs, and agree the time with each customer yourself. Choosing a free time slot from your diary arrives with the grooming launch.
Will it work for mobile groomers?
That’s the plan: customers will give their address and we’ll check it against the postcodes you cover. Travel time between appointments will follow.
Will it cost extra?
No. Grooming appointments will be part of the normal plans – from £19 a month inc. VAT – with no add-on fee.
Do boarding or daycare too?
You can use BookPet for boarding and daycare today, and add grooming to the same account when it launches.
