Cookie policy

Short version: we don’t use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies. The only cookie we set is the one that keeps you signed in to your BookPet dashboard. That’s why you don’t see a cookie banner.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work in a similar way and are covered by the same rules (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, or PECR). Under PECR, a website doesn’t need your consent for cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service you’ve asked for.
Cookies and storage we use

The marketing pages of bookpet.co.uk (like this one) don’t set any cookies.
Third parties
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a real person is signing in or sending a booking, instead of a bot. It runs on the sign-in page and on booking forms and is strictly necessary for security. [Confirm what, if anything, Turnstile stores in the browser.]
- Stripe: when you subscribe or manage your billing, you’ll use pages provided by Stripe, which sets its own cookies for security and fraud prevention. See Stripe’s cookie policy.
Analytics
We don’t currently use analytics on this website. If we start measuring visits, we’ll use a cookieless tool (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics) that doesn’t identify you or track you across sites, and we’ll update this page.
Controlling cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the sign-in cookie, you won’t be able to sign in to the dashboard.
