“Is it £30 or £35 for two dogs?”
Customers see a live estimate built from your own rules – per night, per dog, shared or separate rooms, puppy rates and extras – before they press send.
Whether you board two dogs in your home or run a full kennels, BookPet turns “Have you got space at Christmas?” into a complete booking request – priced, signed and ready for you to approve.
Every boarding enquiry used to mean a string of messages before you even knew whether you could take the dog. Here’s what changes.
Customers see a live estimate built from your own rules – per night, per dog, shared or separate rooms, puppy rates and extras – before they press send.
Your form asks for vet, vaccinations, kennel cough, flea and worming, emergency contact and insurance up front, so you’re not chasing details the night before drop-off.
Customers read your terms and type their name to sign. The signature and date stay with the booking for as long as you need them.
Approval emails include your bank details, deposit amount and deadline. Tick “deposit received” in your dashboard when it arrives.
You’re licensed for a handful of dogs and you’re doing everything yourself. You need bookings that arrive complete, look professional and don’t eat your evenings.
You’ve got runs, a website and probably a member of staff or two. You need the form to sit on your own site and requests to land somewhere everyone can see.
Under The Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations 2018, licensed boarders are expected to keep details for every dog in their care. BookPet collects them as part of the booking, so you’re not copying them off a WhatsApp chat later.
Requirements differ in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, and between councils. You choose which questions are required, so you can match your own licence conditions.
Yes – it was first built for one. You can show your licence number, keep the service names your licence uses, and collect the owner, vet, vaccination and emergency contact details you’re expected to keep for every dog.
Yes. Set a price per dog, or a group price for dogs from the same family sharing (say £35 for one, £45 for two), then add an own-room supplement, puppy rates, long-stay discounts and a minimum stay. The estimate always says it’s an estimate, and you can adjust the final price when you approve.
Not yet. A “maximum dogs per night” setting is coming soon on every plan, so customers will only see dates you have room for. Today, you approve each request yourself, so nothing is booked without you checking your diary.
Yes. Put your booking link in your page’s “Book now” button and your Instagram bio, or share the QR code. Many home boarders don’t need a website at all.
BookPet is built for dogs first. Cats and other pets are on our list for later; if you run a cattery, tell us what you need.
